THE DRAFT GENERAL PLAN IS HERE
We want to hear from you! See below for opportunities to share your thoughts about the Draft 2045 General Plan.
In 2023, the City of Auburn began updating its General Plan, the State-mandated document that guides how and where the city will grow over the next 20 years. The Plan covers topics such as land use, transportation, housing, conservation, open space, and public safety. A Public Review Draft was released on July 31, 2026 and will be considered for adoption this Fall. For information on how you can review and comment on the Draft by visiting the Resources Page.
THANK YOU FOR JOINING US AT OUR RECENT COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE!
Thanks to all who joined us on December 3rd to set our community’s priorities for the coming years. At the open house, we learned more about the City’s goals and policies, and heard from you all on your priorities for the next steps as we shape Auburn’s future together. The workshop included an opening presentation and interactive “stations” on topics like land use, transportation, and the arts.
A summary of the workshop (Round 3 Workshop Summary Report) is available on the Resources Page.
