The comment period on the General Plan Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) closed on September 21, 2026. Thank you to all who submitted comments! The Final EIR, including responses to comments, will be released in mid-October. In the meantime, the Planning Commission will hold public hearings on October 6 and October 20, 2026. Public comments on the General Plan, which is separate document from the EIR, may continue to be submitted. Please visit the Resources Page of this website to review the General Plan document!

Thanks to all who joined us on December 3rd to set our community’s priorities for the coming years. At the open house, we learned more about the City’s goals and policies, and heard from you all on your priorities for the next steps as we shape Auburn’s future together. The workshop included an opening presentation and interactive “stations” on topics like land use, transportation, and the arts.
